Free Fridays with Dr. Karen Vrchota and friends
03:00PM to 05:00PM - February 4, 2022

What: Free time to converse with Lyme practitioners and get general questions answered.

When: Fridays, January 28- March 18th

Time: 3:00 PM until discussion ends by 5:00 PM

Who: Karen Vrchota MD and guest medical practitioners

Guest practitioners include Dr. Bernada Zenker MD, Dr. Susan Haddow MD, Aszani Stoddard NP, Dr. Simone Childs-Walker MD, and Alicia Halikas PA-C. We may also have some surprise guests. We will try to post each week’s guests on our Minnesota Lyme Association Facebook pages.

Many of us have questions that we ponder about Lyme and co-infections;

How is it spread? Can it be sexually transmitted? What lifestyle changes can speed the healing process? Why are antibiotics used in combinations? Are antibiotics the only answer? What is the role for acupuncture, herbs, gemmotherapy etc? How can we support a family member suffering with Lyme? Where can we go for more information? Are peptides helpful? What symptoms can FSM (Frequency Specific Microcurrent) help with? How about low intensity laser?

This unique opportunity to tune into Zoom meeting with Lyme practitioners will allow practitioners to ask each other questions and those affected by Lyme to share questions and discoveries they have made, perhaps uncovering new perspectives on Living Well With Lyme Disease.

Providers will not be able to diagnose or provide specific treatment plan for any individual, but may offer general guidelines, such as what they have seen work in similar cases.

If you have recommended topics or questions you would like to see addressed, please send them to This will only be operational during this project. Emails will not be answered but questions may be addressed in the meetings. We will NOT be recording these meetings for future viewing for privacy reasons.

Please join us and bring your curiosity.
