Magnesium:
- https://therootcauseprotocol.com/ Morely Robbins has ideas on how to modify the chronic inflammatory response that is resulting in multiple chronic inflammatory diseases. While I do not endorse everything he says, I have seen implement ting the Root Cause Protocol reverse Covid Anemia and reverse atrial fibrillation on 3 occasions, and reverse symptoms of congestive heart failure on 2 occasions.

Summary of Different types of Magnesium each is about 125 mg.
- Goal is to work up to about 1000-1800 mg daily spread throughout the day.
- Magnesium Chloride– a good all round source of magnesium, can be used trans-dermal on skin
- or baths, found in mineral drops
- Magnesium Glycinate– often calming so a good one for nighttime
- Magnesium Malate– Relaxes muscles, can be a stimulating magnesium so good for start of day
- Magnesium Oxide/Magnesium Hydroxide– good in small doses throughout the day, the hydroxide version is good for making magnesium bicarbonate
- Magnesium Sulphate– small oral doses, best in bath
- Magnesium Taurate and Orotate– cardiovascular health
- Magnesium Threonate – brain injuries, PTSD, depression, neuro conditions, anxiety (though many other types of magnesium can be suitable too – it is individual to what you may tolerate)
- Magnesium bicarbonate(Mag Water) -or “Ionic Fizz” improves absorption
- “MagSRT” “B Free” has Magnesium as dimagnesium malate 125 mg and malic acid 359mg as DiMagnesium Malate. Take in morning.
- Regular MagSRT has B6 as P5p 1.25 mg and folate as Quatrefolate 50mcg folate equivalent units.
- Both are energizing and should be taken in the morning.
Supplements Karen Vrchota 01-19-24
People often ask me what I take, and rather than take up our time together to elucidate all my supplements, I have summarized my list below. It is a work in progress; when I learn something new, I add it and notice if there is a change. When a therapy like Acupuncture has helped, I try to eliminate 3-5 supplements and see if I can get get by with less.
I am certainly not recommending these for everyone, I take them for specific conditions that improve when I take them, or because I have specific SNPs (Genetic aberrations) which say I need biologic work-around.
